The ES154 Diverter Valve Control (DVC) tester provides the complete functionality and user interface needed for testing the serviceability of the Hamilton Sundstrand DVC, as used on the PW 901 APU engine. The hardware of the unit provides the necessary signaling interfaces to read the LVDT position sensors and drive the torque motor in open loop control. The front panel of the unit provides the user interface to all input and output signals that will enable this functionality. When used in conjunction with the OEM test procedures, the unit will permit the testing of the DVC for serviceability. The ES154 DVC test equipment includes the self-enclosed kit, external interface cable, and AC cable.
