Fergie Legge, Eng.

President and CEO

Mr. Legge is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, with a degree in Applied Science, Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation, the preceding 10 years encompassed working at Pratt and Whitney Canada, in various positions, such as production engineering, field engineering and customer support. He joined ASI in 1989 to be responsible for the overseeing the development and deployment of a variety of Aerosystems products and technologies in the aerospace and telecommunications sectors. With his contribution, ASI operations have supplied ground support equipment for the CRJ fleet, sophisticated remote radio monitoring equipment for governments and commercial companies such as SITA. His current hobbies include owning and operating a Kitfox and RV7 amateur built aircraft.

Mark Connolly

VP Marketing

Mr. Connolly is a graduate of Concordia University, with a degree in Finance. In the late 1980’s, he was instrumental in the growth of the Aerospace Division in Tech Rep Electronics by introducing a variety products and services to Pratt & Whitney Canada and Hamilton Standard in the U.S.A. Upon joining ASI, he established Canadian representation for Deutsch connectors, to market to local aerospace companies. He was an early promoter of the “Pulselite” aircraft lighting technology, which aids in enhancing aircraft visibility in high density areas to airlines world wide. It is now a standard item on many Bombardier production aircraft as well as Service Bulletin kits for existing fleet aircraft. In support of ASI’s telecom activities, he has travelled extensively, promoting and marketing radio monitoring technology, to countries such as Armenia, Georgia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Maroun Elias, Eng.

Director Product Development

Mr. Elias has over 23 years of experience in telecommunications, spectrum surveillance and Direction Finding technologies. He participated in many projects in Canada and internationally. He was behind the architecture design and the deployment of the wireless netted Direction Finding system in Quebec City for the summit of the Americas 2000, managed projects in Georgia, Lesotho, Ivory Coast, Armenia, Jamaica, British Virgin Islands, Indonesia and other countries.

He has assisted several developing countries in developing spectrum monitoring networks and studied the integration of existing monitoring instruments into automated monitoring systems.
